Институт истории, археологии и этнографии народов Дальнего Востока ДВО РАН в середине апреля 2011 года проводит во Владивостоке очередную, XIV сессию археологов Дальнего Востока. О её программе ДВ-РОСС рассказали в оргкомитете конференции.

Работа конференции пройдёт по четырём направлениям:
— естественно-научные методы и теоретические подходы в археологии;
— Сибирь, Дальний Восток и Северная Америка в эпоху камня;
— Северная Пасифика в эпоху палеометалла;
— Дальний Восток и Центральная Азия в средние века.

В программе конференции запланированы экскурсии на археологические памятники государства Бохай (8-10 века) и империи чжурчжэней (12-13 века).

Предполагается, что в работе конференции примут участие ученые из других стран.

XIV Conference of the Archaeologists of the Far East and Seberia

Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnology, Far East Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences is preparing the XIV Conference of the Archaeologists of the Far East and Seberia to be held in April 2011 in Vladivostok. The program of the Symposium is to include interesting excursions to archaeological sites of the prehistoric time, to medieval towns of the Bohai State (8-10 centuries) and Jurchen Empire Chin (12-13 centuries).

The main themes of discussion are as follows:
• Siberia, Far East and Northern America in the Stone Age
• Northern Pacifica in the Early Metall Age
• History and Archaeology of the Bohai State
• Far East and Central Asia in the Middle Age
•
The detailed information on the Symposium, scientific program and financial terms will be sent in the Second Announcement at the beginning of March 2005.
